Can I charge previously failed or skipped installments?

Recurring plan installments will sometimes be missed or fail for a number of reasons. Here's what to do if a donor insists on donating for a missed payment.

Fundraise Up will not allow for a missed donation installment to be charged prior to today's date.

If a donor insists on making up a lost donation, we recommend asking the donor to consider making a one-time donation for each installment payment missed.

Pro-tip: If a donor would like start a second recurring plan that is a different frequency than monthly, you can use your Virtual Terminal to have the donor make recurring plans that are daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual!

 

You also have the option of starting the recurring plan on a day in the future (if a credit card is used)!
