Connecting Salesforce CRM to Fundraise Up

Instructions for connecting your Salesforce org to Fundraise Up. We work with multiple Salesforce donation suites, NPSP and beyond.

User Permissions: Please ensure that the Salesforce user you use to connect Fundraise Up has full read/write permissions including to create structures, entities, objects, and so on. When in doubt, please use a System Administrator-level user to connect.

 


Connect to your Salesforce Production org

To connect your Salesforce:

  1. Go to Fundraise Up, first go to Settings, and then Integrations.
  2. Choose Salesforce.
  3. Next, click Connect Salesforce

On the next screen, you'll be sent to SalesForce. Here you will need to log in to Salesforce with an administrator-level user account that has access to read and write to all records.

After logging in, you'll be asked to give permission to Fundraise Up.

Click YES.

You'll then be returned to Fundraise Up for configuring your Salesforce integration.

 


Connect to a Salesforce Sandbox org

To connect to a Salesforce sandbox org:

  1. Go to Fundraise Up, first go to Settings, and then Integrations.
  2. Choose Salesforce.
  3. Next, click Connect Salesforce

On the next screen, you'll be sent to SalesForce. Here you will need to log in to Salesforce Sandbox with an administrator-level user account that has access to read and write to all records.

Click Use Custom Domain on this screen

Enter the domain of your sandbox environment and click Continue

If you're presented with a prefilled username list, choose Log In with a Different Username

Enter your credentials and Log In to Sandbox

After logging in, you'll be asked to give permission to Fundraise Up.

Click YES.

You'll then be returned to Fundraise Up for configuring your Salesforce integration.
