Using standard UTM tags to track donation sources

In addition of using UTM

1. Define UTM Tags

Define 1 or all 5 UTM tags you would like to use in your campaign setting.

2. Construct URL

Construct URL with UTM tags and use this link in your email campaign or ads. Your can use this nice URL builder.

Example:

https://yourwebsite.org/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=water%20day&utm_term=give%20water%20keyword&utm_content=give%20water%20ad

You can also construct URL to open checkout directly

When user clicks on this URL, Fundraise Up store all the link parameters for 30 minutes ( session standard as recommended by Google ) and pass those parameters to checkout given that user started donation within 30 minutes from clicking the link.

3. See UTM tags in your donation details page

Now you can see values you used in your URL on your donation details page!

In additional to Google Analytics, UTM Tags now available in your export as any other donation details.
